Just been to Vulcan, almost 1000 players there right now, standing in a circle in each instance. What a tribute.

Re: Live Long And Prosper
Just posted on the STO forums.I want to once again express my heartfelt condolences to the friends, family, and fans of Leonard Nimoy. Everyone at Cryptic Studios was saddened to hear of his passing and we want to make sure we never forget the cultural impact of the man or the character he played. To that end, the Star Trek Online team will implement a standing in-game memorial to Spock and Leonard Nimoy this Thursday March 5th with our regular weekly maintenance.
In this way, we hope to keep his memory as alive in our game as he is in all of our hearts.

For those of you who play Elite Dangerous, the new community-funded starport currently has a contest for naming it; naming it in honour of Leonard Nimoy would be a fitting tribute, I urge you to suggest such a name here.
Regarding the gathering on Vulcan, I have a number of screenshots.

Very depressing news, I met him several times in LA and Vegas. One of my all time favorite people. Went through the star trek experience a little past midnight with he and Quinto about 3 times in a row, it was just a small group of us there at that hour, the experience was closing in a few weeks for good And we all just went through it over and over.

Re: Live Long And Prosper
I'd like to point out that this is now a moot point, as the developers will instead be creating a new station in orbit of "Vulcan", rather than naming a (sort of) pre-existing station.majormagna wrote: For those of you who play Elite Dangerous, the new community-funded starport currently has a contest for naming it; naming it in honour of Leonard Nimoy would be a fitting tribute, I urge you to suggest such a name here.
